Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Represent security within the team through threat modeling, vulnerability testing, risk analysis, security assessments, and incident handling.
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices in Azure environments.
• Build monitoring and alerting capabilities for secure, observable SaaS platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and support security initiatives.
• Contribute to the Security Guild and advance the product security roadmap toward principal-level responsibilities.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud security infrastructure, cloud-native technologies, and desired-state configuration, preferably with Terraform.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture, defensible security architecture, incident management, vulnerability management, threat modeling, SIEM, logging, and monitoring.
• Proficiency with Azure, Helm Charts, Kubernetes, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Azure Monitoring, or AWS APM.
• At least 3 years of experience running workloads on public cloud platforms.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Azure Administrator or Azure Solution Architect certification.
