Product Management Intern (Geospatial)

TL;DR

Product Management Intern (Geospatial): Supporting the development of map data products and navigation features with an accent on data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on gathering customer requirements, analyzing product metrics, and leveraging AI tools to optimize map production workflows.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Contribute to market research and product roadmap planning.
• Define and track key product metrics to identify quality and efficiency improvements.
• Gather and organize customer requirements and feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, map operations, and data teams to implement feature ideas and bug fixes.
• Support stakeholder communication through clear reporting and presentations.
• Utilize AI tools to automate documentation and research tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Geoinformatics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• English proficiency required for effective team collaboration.
• Proactive learner with enthusiasm for technology and real-world problem solving.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GIS tools or geospatial concepts.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL or Python.
• Understanding of agile methodologies or prior project/product experience.
