Software Product Owner (Embedded)

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Rijswijk (Netherlands) office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap, backlog, and prioritization of SDK and software tooling initiatives.
• Define the direction of developer-facing tools based on customer needs and business objectives.
• Drive alignment between Applications, Product, and Software Engineering teams.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers and internal users to translate into development plans.
• Coordinate software releases, including versioning, distribution, and documentation processes.
• Monitor operational metrics like release frequency, resolution times, and regression rates.

Requirements

• Must be able to work from the Rijswijk office at least 3 days per week.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Software Project Manager.
• Ability to read and understand C/C++ and Python code.
• Experience working closely with software engineering teams and managing stakeholders.
• Proven ability to make prioritization decisions under resource constraints.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience within semiconductor, embedded systems, or high-tech environments.
• Background in SDK release management and package distribution platforms like PyPI.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
