What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for laser processes, ensuring continuous improvement and high-volume production stability.
• Optimize high-power ablative laser processes to achieve tight process control.
• Design and implement data collection and process control systems in collaboration with software and database teams.
• Maintain process ownership over released production equipment and monitor for sustained performance.
• Identify, investigate, and correct process excursions to meet manufacturing goals.
• Recommend and lead process improvements to enhance yield and performance.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant)
• Advanced degree or relevant industry experience in Materials Science, Applied Physics, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in laser or optics-focused roles.
• Experience with mass production of diamond, semiconductors, or ceramics.
• Proficiency in data analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
