Transaction Coordinator

TL;DR

Transaction Coordinator (Mortgage): Manage loan files from application through closing by pulling and analyzing credit, income, and asset information with an accent on documentation review, Encompass updates, and condition/condition-clearing workflows. Focus on running DU, stacks, and submitting files while coordinating with borrowers, realtors, and loan originators to meet deadlines.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch leadership, and assigned loan originators.
• Review received documentation within 24 hours for discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculation, asset verification, and update Encompass based on verified information.
• Track requested documents in Encompass and collaborate with loan originators to resolve issues in files and documents.
• Run DU, stacks, and submit files; request and clear conditions.
• Communicate with borrowers and realtors and provide superior customer service internally and externally.
• Manage multiple assignments/projects, meet deadlines, and be available for varying hours and overtime if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Encompass experience required.
• Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Office & Windows.
• Knowledge of RESPA and mortgage/consumer lending regulations and loan documents preferred.
• State and Federal NMLS license desired.
