TL;DR

What you will do

  • Review and analyze borrower credit, income, and assets to ensure loan program requirements are met.
  • Communicate directly with customers, builders, and loan officers to collect and verify necessary documentation.
  • Prepare loan approval summaries and deliver complete, accurate files to underwriters.
  • Ensure all loan files comply with RESPA, TIL, HMDA, and other mortgage-related regulations.
  • Manage a pipeline of loans within designated turn times and document all communications in the LOS.
  • Assist closing and servicing teams in clearing outstanding suspense items.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA and available to work Eastern or Central Time zone hours.
  • 3-5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
  • Experience with renovation or new construction lending.
  • Proficiency with automated Loan Origination Systems, specifically Encompass.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations including RESPA, Regulation Z, and Regulation B.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
