What you will do
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing blueprints.
- Inspect incoming materials, machined components, sheet metal parts, and welded assemblies using visual checks and measurement testing.
- Approve or reject finished goods based on specification compliance and coordinate rework when required.
- Document inspection results and enter quality data into designated systems accurately and on time.
- Maintain and calibrate quality and measurement equipment.
- Support quality, continuous improvement, safety, and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- ASQ Quality Inspection and ISO 9001 certifications.
- Thorough knowledge of the metric system and geometric tolerancing.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work onsite in Richmond, Virginia, United States.
