TL;DR
Senior Data Scientist (Media): Developing and deploying machine learning models to support diverse business lines with an accent on automated decision-making, metadata solutions, and synthetic audience generation. Focus on driving data-driven culture, implementing end-to-end solutions from proof of concept to production, and leveraging generative AI to enhance content discoverability.
Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid: 2 days a week in office)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting Allowance

What you will do
- Work across various business lines to identify and implement data science opportunities.
- Develop automated decision-making systems and metadata-focused solutions for content discoverability.
- Select and implement appropriate algorithmic approaches to solve complex business problems.
- Manage the full lifecycle of data solutions from proof of concept to production deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Stay current with generative AI developments and integrate them into business workflows.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to London, UK.
- Proven experience in a data science or closely aligned role.
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models into production.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into practical, data-driven solutions.
