TL;DR

Head of Data Value Labs (Fintech): Leading the strategic delivery of advanced data models, AI/Gen-AI solutions, and predictive analytics to drive commercial outcomes and personalized client experiences. Focus on building high-performing teams, defining the data roadmap, and integrating data-driven insights into the end-to-end client journey.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bristol, UK (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Direct the full lifecycle of data science projects, including propensity modeling, Next Best Action (NBA) strategies, and AI/ML implementation.
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for data value creation across the enterprise.
  • Synthesize transactional, behavioral, and demographic data to build a 360-degree view of the client.
  • Design and implement automated, personalized client insights, nudges, and alerts to encourage positive financial behaviors.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of analytics professionals.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Technology, and Finance to drive commercial value.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
  • Proven experience in a senior analytics leadership role within financial services, wealth management, or fintech.
  • Deep expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, experimental design, and Gen-AI.
  • High proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with experience in cloud-based data warehousing (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with the Executive team and Board.
