What you will do

• Translate complex business problems into structured data science questions with measurable success criteria.
• Query, transform, and analyze large datasets to build reliable sets for modeling and experimentation.
• Select, apply, and evaluate appropriate ML algorithms using suitable performance metrics.
• Develop and support the stable operation of models in production using ML-Ops practices.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain data governance, security, and responsible AI standards when handling sensitive data.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Data Science or Machine Learning role delivering impactful solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and standard toolkits like Scikit-learn.
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms and BI tooling.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, model selection, and performance measurement.
• Must be based in or able to work from London or Nottingham (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Sigma.
• Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring AI/ML solutions in production.
• Domain experience in the Energy industry.
