What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable software using Elixir.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS.
• Contribute to code reviews and foster a culture of high-quality engineering.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Extensive experience writing and maintaining production software in fast-paced environments.
• Professional experience with functional programming (Elixir, Erlang, Scala, etc.) or modern statically typed languages (Rust, Go).
• Strong expertise in system observability (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Extensive experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems and performance tuning.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
