What you will do

• Contribute to software development from requirements analysis and system design through coding, testing, and deployment.
• Assist with system & software design, documentation, and integration of software components.
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code, including functional and non-functional testing.
• Support configuration management, monitoring, incident management, and reliability/performance improvements (including on-call as required).
• Contribute to data modelling and database design to support application development and data integrity.
• Participate in problem management (root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews) and feasibility assessments.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment).
• Strong skills in designing and developing scalable, efficient software solutions.
• Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing to meet quality, performance, and security requirements.
• Experience with data modelling and supporting user experience design/analysis.
• Understanding of information security and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience in modern engineering practices such as automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development, and DevOps ways of working.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
