What you will do

• Support and maintain all switching equipment within Central Offices.
• Ensure all backup generators are kept in optimum condition.
• Install and maintain special circuits and operate within the TIRKS system.
• Monitor and respond to all switch alarm activity.
• Install, support, and maintain both fiber and copper networks.
• Manage transport networks and central power platforms.

Requirements

• Familiarity with inside and outside plant cabling practices.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Self-motivated approach to driving technical issues to resolution.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and peers.
