Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Maisa is an early-stage AI startup building Agentic Process Automation software that combines AI-driven reasoning with deterministic execution for reliable, auditable enterprise systems.

What you will do

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their processes and translate requirements into technical implementations.
• Deploy and adapt Maisa Studio to automate complex, decision-heavy workflows.
• Build integrations and supporting services using APIs, connectors, webhooks, serverless functions, microservices, and event-driven flows.
• Design and support on-premise and customer-managed cloud deployments, including authentication, IAM, networking, monitoring, backups, and high availability.
• Diagnose complex issues across code, integrations, distributed systems, and infrastructure.
• Partner with product, engineering, QA, SRE, AppSec, and customer technical teams to improve reliability, security, documentation, and reusable delivery patterns.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, DevOps/SRE Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer in customer-facing or delivery-oriented roles.
• Production experience as a backend or full-stack developer, or strong DevOps/SRE experience supporting production workloads.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures or queues, and serverless integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud providers or on-premise infrastructure, and networking fundamentals.
• Practical experience with OIDC, SAML, VPNs, certificates, IAM, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication with technical stakeholders, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous customer environments.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting customers in regulated environments.
• Experience defining reference architectures, reusable components, runbooks, deployment patterns, or troubleshooting guides.
