TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This is a hybrid/onsite role requiring up to 30% travel.

Salary: $175,000–$205,000/year

What you will do

• Develop and validate machine learning models for image, video, text, and geospatial data.
• Implement AI-based software solutions for both cloud and edge environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to transform models into functional products.
• Conduct mission-critical fieldwork to support customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the future capabilities of the proprietary Chariot AIOps platform.

Requirements

• US citizenship required due to the nature of the role.
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance.
• BS degree in computer science, mathematics, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience applying data science to image and video data.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle and tools like Git and Agile.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (MS, MEng, PhD) in a relevant field.
• Experience with DevOps, Cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
• Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience with compiled languages like Go, Rust, or C++.
• Background in delivering solutions for government customers.
