What you will do

• Prototype AI-native ideas in code, moving from concept to production-grade React in days.
• Own key Growth surfaces end-to-end, including layout, interaction, motion, and performance.
• Define the quality ceiling for AI-assisted output through reviews, examples, and reusable patterns.
• Build operations, patterns, and prompt libraries to enable the design team to move faster.
• Partner with design leadership to set the bar for interaction craft and accessibility.
• Trailblaze the Design Engineer function as the first hire in this role.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland, Portugal, or Ukraine.
• Strong experience across both design and front-end engineering with a portfolio of shipped interfaces.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and animation libraries like Framer Motion or React Spring.
• Active, opinionated use of Cursor and Claude Code in daily workflows.
• Comfort building from zero and setting direction without templates.
• Work schedule must be aligned with EU time zones.
