Lead UI Designer (eCommerce)

Location: Hybrid, London or Manchester, United Kingdom; office attendance averages four days per week.

What you will do

• Create digital brand look and feel, design systems, and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces for key clients.
• Apply usability and accessibility standards while balancing user and business needs.
• Lead the execution of online visual identities and conversion-led design for transactional eCommerce websites.
• Lead and support multiple designers, strengthening the UI Design offering.
• Communicate design processes from concept to solution, manage feedback, and present concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with software engineering and contribute to digital experiences across the customer journey.

Requirements

• Demonstrable eCommerce experience and a compelling portfolio of high-quality online experiences.
• Strong UI design excellence, leadership, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating, evolving, and theming brand identities and design systems.
• Experience working at digital or creative agencies and/or in-house design studios, with breadth across sectors and audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, project management, problem-solving, and time management skills; a degree in Graphic Design, UI, or a similar discipline.
