Gamification Designer (UX) (Gamification/Interactive Design): Designing accessible user interfaces, journeys, and interactive customer experiences for a financial services organization with an accent on game mechanics, behavioural design, and human-centred experiences. Location: Dundee or Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid working requires at least two days per week, or 40% of working time, at an office site; one day per week in the Dundee office is required.

What you will do
- Design clear, accessible user interfaces, journeys, and interactive experiences using the central design system.
- Prototype concepts with Figma, Rive, Unity, or Adobe XD.
- Explore game mechanics, progression systems, feedback loops, and behavioural design to make complex financial topics more engaging.
- Balance business requirements and customer needs, validating ideas with researchers and iterating based on user insight.
- Collaborate with researchers, content designers, games developers, product owners, and other multidisciplinary partners.
- Document game concepts, experience flows, mechanics, and design decisions for delivery teams while accounting for platform constraints.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience as a designer or developer.
- Human-centred design experience and strong prototyping skills with Figma or Adobe XD.
- Experience designing or contributing to interactive experiences with Unity or Rive.
- Knowledge of behavioural design principles and how engagement, feedback, and motivation influence customer behaviour.
- Experience testing designs with users, presenting to stakeholders, and adapting work based on feedback.
- Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, problem-solving, accessibility, and inclusive design skills.
