Cost Engineer-Estimator (Glass)

Location: Remote from Serbia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, or Ukraine; full-time schedule aligned with EST, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM New York time.

What you will do

• Review architectural drawings and submitted quotes to determine installation options for glass, aluminum, and steel partitions.
• Perform quantity take-offs for door and partition openings using architectural and shop drawings.
• Read door schedules, hardware sets, and layouts to select compatible products.
• Prepare detailed quotes covering materials, scope of work, exclusions, assumptions, and conditions.
• Coordinate project scope, technical requirements, deadlines, and documentation with the sales team.
• Identify technical errors and recommend suitable alternatives or solutions.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering, or proven experience as a Cost Engineer or Estimator.
• Experience performing quantity take-offs from construction and mechanical drawings.
• Strong spatial thinking, technical problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret civil and mechanical drawings, door schedules, hardware sets, and layouts.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas, and comfort working with scaled PDFs in Adobe Acrobat.
• Fluent Russian, English at B2 level or higher, and availability during EST business hours are required.
