TL;DR

Project Manager (Finance & Operations Performance) (Finance & Supply Chain): Steering global budgeting and financial targets for spare parts management with an accent on quantitative business modeling and KPI transformation. Focus on translating complex supply chain processes into precise business cases and leading strategic budget negotiations.

Location: Hybrid (Porto, Portugal) - 3 days at the office, 2 days at home.

What you will do

  • Steer the global budget creation, forecasting, and target negotiations for the spare parts infrastructure.
  • Act as the primary liaison to Service Controlling to harmonize financial targets with operational supply chain realities.
  • Develop complex business cases, ROI calculations, and profitability analyses for strategic initiatives.
  • Design and monitor a cross-divisional KPI framework linking financial metrics with operational performance.
  • Lead cross-functional optimization projects to ensure efficiency measures are reflected in the P&L.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in operational controlling, supply chain analytics, or finance-focused project management.
  • Deep understanding of controlling mechanisms and supply chain processes (inventory, logistics, material flows).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI); SAP (FI/CO, MM, SD) knowledge is a distinct advantage.
  • English: Proficiency required; Spanish or German is a bonus.
  • Regular willingness to travel between Porto, Pamplona, Hamburg, and international subsidiaries.
