What you will do

• Own end-to-end execution of strategic programs including cloud migrations, infrastructure cost optimization, and BYOC.
• Establish and lead the infrastructure cost program, partnering with Finance on forecasting and unit economics.
• Manage strategic external vendor relationships with AWS, Azure, OpenAI, and Anthropic for capacity and contract optimization.
• Define and report on platform health metrics, including reliability SLOs, capacity headroom, and platform adoption.
• Identify systemic gaps in platform maturity and translate findings into structured multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Run the operating cadence for programs via working groups, steering reviews, and executive readouts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management driving large-scale, ambiguous infrastructure programs.
• Deep technical fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, databases, networking, and CI/CD.
• Proven track record of leading cloud migrations, major cost programs, or internal platform buildouts.
• Ability to lead and influence senior engineering stakeholders, including Staff+ ICs and executive sponsors.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in San Francisco

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, service meshes, and observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, Platform/Infrastructure Engineer, or SRE.
• Experience scaling internal developer experience functions from the ground up.
• Experience managing strategic relationships with foundation model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic).
