What you will do

• Perform chromosome analysis and case reviews on bone marrow, blood, prenatal, and tissue samples with 100% accuracy.
• Execute wet lab duties including sample setup, harvest, slide dropping, and banding.
• Suggest and implement process improvements and contribute to protocol development.
• Provide guidance and oversee the activities of lower-level personnel on new assignments.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot wet lab issues and maintain high productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience as a Cytogenetics Technologist.
• Certification/registration as a Medical Technologist by ASCP or as a Clinical Lab Specialist in Cytogenetics (NCA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information skillfully.
