What you will do

• Analyze clinical laboratory specimens following standard methods and procedures with high accuracy.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and escalate malfunctions of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory agency requirements and GLP (good laboratory practice).
• Perform quality control procedures to guarantee the accuracy of clinical data.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve daily schedules and tasks.
• Act as a mentor and super-user for specialized instrument protocols and instructions.

Requirements

• Current California CLS (Generalist) or CGMBS license is required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory environment.
• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in Molecular Biology and excellent pipetting skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Carlos, CA.
• Ability to discern color visually and pass relevant screening assessments.
