What you will do
- Design and implement secure, highly available, and resilient wireless architectures.
- Monitor network health and performance using SNMP, NetFlow, and observability tools.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for wireless services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on site surveys, RF planning, and signal analysis.
- Oversee vendor governance and drive continuous improvement in scalability and cost efficiency.
- Maintain documentation standards and ensure regulatory compliance across the enterprise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and managing enterprise wireless networks.
- Advanced expertise with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers and access points.
- Strong knowledge of 802.11 standards, security protocols (802.1X, WPA2/WPA3), and network segmentation.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable wireless solutions.
- Experience managing multi-vendor environments including Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, and Extreme Networks.
- Must be based in or able to work from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CWNP (CWNA, CWSP, CWAP).
- Experience with network automation and scripting.
- Background in supporting wired infrastructure in large-scale environments.
