TL;DR
Technical Scrum Master (Healthcare): Facilitating Agile delivery across engineering and business technology teams with an accent on technical backlog refinement, dependency management, and sprint execution. Focus on bridging the gap between technical development and product delivery by leveraging coding fluency to identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure release readiness in a regulated environment.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote/Hybrid eligible).

What you will do
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to maintain a technically sound, prioritized backlog.
- Review user stories for technical feasibility, testability, and dependency clarity.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical and process-related blockers to maintain sprint velocity.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code-level conversations.
- Track release readiness, UAT status, and cross-team dependencies to ensure predictable delivery.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.
- 3+ years of experience as a practicing Scrum Master on software delivery teams.
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience (Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL, relational databases, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Nice to have
- Advanced Scrum certifications (A-CSM, CSP-SM, PSM II/III, SAFe).
- Experience in healthcare IT, LIMS, or HIPAA-sensitive environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Background in both software development and Agile leadership.
