What you will do
- Lead client-facing projects in benefits administration, aligning client expectations, service delivery teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Drive initiatives for client onboarding, service delivery enhancements, platform configuration, operational readiness, and annual enrollment execution.
- Identify risks, manage dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure client initiatives meet goals for health, satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership success.
- Plan, coordinate, and support annual enrollment projects, including readiness tracking, execution support, and post-AE analysis.
- Develop and execute detailed client project plans using Smartsheet, Jira, and other project management tools; apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall as needed.
- Track timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies; communicate milestones and outcomes clearly to stakeholders with a focus on delivery readiness and client impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience with benefits administration products and platforms in a client-facing or service delivery environment.
- Demonstrated experience servicing external clients and leading client-driven initiatives in benefits administration/benefits technology.
- 2–5 years of direct project management experience for complex, cross-functional, client-facing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of service delivery models, operational workflows, and annual enrollment cycles.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet (required) and Jira/related project management tools; working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Experience leading or supporting large-scale annual enrollment projects.
- Background in benefits technology, consulting, or SaaS environments.
- Experience managing complex client implementations or service delivery transformations.
