What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 engineers, overseeing hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Drive sprint and quarterly commitments with a focus on quality, reliability, and predictable delivery.
- Partner with Product Management and Design to manage roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery trade-offs.
- Establish and reinforce engineering standards including code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enable the team to effectively leverage AI tools in daily workflows while maintaining critical oversight.
- Evolve engineering quality practices by utilizing AI-driven metrics and systems thinking.
Requirements
- Must be based in Las Vegas, Nevada
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong foundation in software delivery and operations.
- 2+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including talent development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and retain high-performing engineering talent.
- Experience providing AI-augmented quality oversight and using systemic quality indicators.
- Strong understanding of AI-aware estimation and delivery planning.
