Infrastructure Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop an infrastructure engineering team supporting a SaaS product at scale.
• Manage execution, delivery, prioritization, roadmap planning, and operational excellence for infrastructure and platform work.
• Partner with product, engineering, security, support, and operations teams to improve reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
• Drive infrastructure as code, GitOps, automation-first engineering, observability, availability, and resilience improvements.
• Define on-call expectations, operational readiness standards, service ownership practices, and incident response processes.
• Provide technical guidance, hire and retain talent, and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of people management experience leading technical teams.
• Strong background in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, site reliability, or a related discipline.
• Experience operating production workloads in AWS and datacenters.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps, automation, and infrastructure as code for provisioning, deployment, operations, and support.
• Experience managing engineering roadmaps, supporting on-call rotations, and handling production incidents.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and execution skills, including the ability to lead through ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or DevOps teams supporting distributed or multi-service systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, operational metrics, reliability engineering, capacity planning, and service performance optimization.
• Exposure to security, compliance, and governance requirements in cloud environments.
• Experience scaling teams and improving operational maturity and engineering processes.
