DevOps Engineer (Banking)

What you will do

• Provide DevOps and SRE coverage for the Manila timezone, supporting global operations and system reliability.
• Own production deployments, release coordination, rollbacks, and service-level performance.
• Monitor production systems, manage operational risks, and lead incident response during critical outages.
• Perform root cause analysis, implement preventative fixes, and improve monitoring, alerts, and runbooks.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and coordinate with development and platform teams.
• Support and mentor junior engineers while maintaining availability, performance, and security standards.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant DevOps experience, including production support or development, monitoring, change management, and automation.
• Experience delivering mission-critical systems and managing incidents.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, Linux administration, public and private cloud environments, and Git.
• Experience with observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana, plus scripting with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or equivalent.
• Understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, networking, lifecycle management, vulnerability management, and basic security practices.
