DevOps Engineer (Blockchain)

Location: Remote from Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, or London, United Kingdom

What you will do

• Build secure and reliable infrastructure for monitoring, detecting, and mitigating performance and security issues.
• Administer Linux servers and proactively maintain system health, stability, and availability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for blockchain protocols, including running testnets and supporting new networks.
• Create and maintain system procedures and technical documentation.
• Apply peer-to-peer networking security best practices and communicate threat models and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineer.
• Programming experience with one or more of Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Experience managing highly available server infrastructure and designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Experience deploying and maintaining software in data centers and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of sockets, the full networking stack, Linux security, automation, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.

Nice to have

• Understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto ecosystem.
• Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices.
• Contributions to open-source communities.
