What you will do

• Develop advanced electronic control systems for machine safety, productivity, and autonomy.
• Collaborate with hardware, controls, and software teams to verify and release software solutions.
• Design algorithms for sensing, planning, and machine tool automation.
• Debug complex hardware and software systems, including on-machine tuning.
• Participate in R&D programs throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and their applications.
• Experience with requirements analysis and technical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in product testing strategies and execution.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available).
• Must be able to work onsite in Peoria, IL, five days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with machine dynamics, kinematics, and control algorithm theory.
• Knowledge of AI, deep learning integration, and perception solutions.
• Experience with Python, Matlab/Simulink, C++, or ROS.
• Prior experience testing systems on motor graders or earthmoving equipment.
