What you will do

• Develop and optimize algorithms for robot task and motion planning within the planning framework.
• Implement and test computer vision software to ensure robustness in real-world robotic scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics software with other product components.
• Establish software development best practices for high-quality code, testing, and releases.
• Document algorithms, code, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and future development.
• Stay current with advancements in robot planning and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python, with strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Fundamental understanding of manipulator kinematics, dynamics, trajectory generation, and communication protocols.
• Experience with ROS and MoveIt planning and manipulation packages.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with OpenCV and PCL libraries.
• Proficiency in C# or TypeScript.
• Experience applying Generative AI in robotics.
• Strong publication record or open-source contributions in robotics.
