What you will do

• Develop and implement algorithms for task and motion planning and computer vision in robotic systems.
• Collaborate with automation and software engineers to design, develop, and test software solutions.
• Optimize algorithms for symbolic task planning, robot kinematics, collision detection, and constraint satisfaction.
• Integrate and test computer vision software to ensure performance in real-world scenarios.
• Maintain software development best practices to ensure high-quality code and efficient testing.
• Document code, algorithms, and procedures to support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial robotics, including manipulator kinematics, dynamics, and trajectory generation.
• Experience with open-source robotic planning software such as MoveIt and ROS.
• Knowledge of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Understanding of computer vision libraries such as OpenCV and PCL.
• Experience with C# or TypeScript.
• Exposure to Generative AI in robotics.
