Salary: $100,000–$130,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Prospect, pitch, and close net-new accounts to build and own a robust sales pipeline.
  • Deepen client relationships post-sale to expand partnerships and grow account spend.
  • Pitch a diverse portfolio including digital, video, branded content, OTT/CTV, and events.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting accurately using Salesforce.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build credibility with brands and agencies.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and strategy teams to deliver high-impact campaigns.

Requirements

  • Must currently live in the Chicago market with an established network of local agencies and brands.
  • 8+ years of experience in media sales with a proven track record of hitting high revenue targets.
  • Demonstrable history of opening new business accounts.
  • Strong command of digital media sales, with preference for video and OTT/CTV experience.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Google Suite.
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels, including CMOs.

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships in CPG, Healthcare, Retail/Outdoor, FinSer, or Travel/Tourism sectors.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools like Gong, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
