What you will do

• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions for children with severe mental illness and mood disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver care using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Perform crisis assessments and establish safety plans using validated screening tools.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of pediatricians, nurses, and caregivers to ensure whole-child support.
• Maintain detailed documentation in electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling or related field.
• Independent license to practice in Missouri or Illinois (LCSW strongly preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience post-independent licensure in a behavioral health setting.
• 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, and their caregivers.
• Certification or training in CBT and DBT modalities.
• Experience working with high-risk populations, including those with suicidal ideation or in foster care.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Openness to cross-state licensure.
