What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, assigning tasks and ensuring full feature coverage across milestones.
• Define and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices for the project.
• Create and oversee comprehensive test plans, test cases, and risk assessments for major systems.
• Partner with production and engineering to estimate QA scope, plan resources, and track quality-related risks.
• Investigate technical issues using debugging tools, logs, and engine features.
• Maintain build stability through smoke tests and proactive issue identification.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a senior or lead QA role within video game development.
• Strong expertise in testing native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Deep understanding of mobile certification requirements and platform-specific testing.
• Proficiency with game development tools (Unity, Unreal) and bug-tracking systems (Jira).
• Proven experience contributing to at least one shipped game or major feature set.
• Must be based in or able to attend in-person interviews in Montreal, Canada.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce or Git.
• Experience with automation tools, scripting, or performance profiling.
• Experience building or improving QA pipelines, tools, or dashboards.
