What you will do

• Lead technical leadership for hardware integration and validation, serving as the single point of accountability for requirements and interfaces.
• Approve validation plans and oversee customized strategies for re-tests and emerging issues.
• Verify and maintain accurate interface definitions (ICDe and ICDm) and oversee calibration verification.
• Govern vehicle-level integration processes and communicate findings to Technical Specifications teams.
• Lead technical sourcing evaluations and supplier preparedness reviews to ensure alignment with GM standards.
• Mentor DREs in planning and execution activities while providing consolidated reports to the Core PDT.

Requirements

• Over five years of experience in vehicle engineering development.
• Significant experience in automotive hardware development, integration, and validation.
• Thorough understanding of system interfaces, calibration processes, and vehicle-level integration.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no immigration sponsorship provided).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Advanced communication skills for presenting technical updates to executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in PRTS, ECR, Jira, and Emerge systems.
• Expertise in CAN/LIN architecture and log collection for root cause analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infotainment systems and vehicle electrical architecture.
• Master of Engineering degree.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (DFSS).
