Location: Hybrid: Must be based in London or actively relocating to the UK (minimum 3 days per week on-site in the London office)

Salary: £117.9K – £131.3K + Equity

What you will do

• Own design direction and quality across the Explore, Live, and Map verticals, establishing the craft bar and product vision.
• Manage and develop a team of 4 Product Designers distributed across London, Chamonix, and Berlin.
• Partner with PM and Engineering leads to shape product planning, scope, and early-stage design decisions.
• Lead design reviews to maintain high standards for craft and strategic clarity.
• Contribute to hirify.global's global design system, cross-functional culture, and shared product standards.
• Represent the London design perspective within the broader global Design organization.

Requirements

• Experience leading Product Design at a senior manager level with a track record of owning design direction across multiple areas.
• Ability to set and articulate a clear design vision rather than reacting to immediate tasks.
• High-level craft proficiency with the ability to provide precise, substantive feedback to designers.
• Experience with consumer product design at a meaningful scale.
• Must be based in London or actively relocating.
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills, particularly with PM and Engineering leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for mapping, navigation, real-time data, or location-based products.
• Experience with AI-powered product features.
• Background in health and fitness products.
• Experience building design culture within a regional office.
