What you will do

• Lead the team building an enterprise AI/ML platform using Databricks and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Define and drive the capability roadmap for LLM/RAG and agentic systems in partnership with Product Management.
• Establish engineering excellence through CI/CD, MLOps, and observability practices.
• Review solution designs for scalability, security, and compliance within a regulated financial environment.
• Manage and coach a team of experienced engineers and specialists to foster a healthy engineering culture.
• Guide build-vs-buy decisions and manage technology vendor and consulting relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to manage multi-discipline, high-performance technical teams.
• Strong competency in project management and executing large-scale IT projects.
• Must be based in the US (indicated by US-specific benefits and EEO compliance).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building production ML or LLM systems (RAG, agentic systems, MLOps).
• Fluency with Databricks (MLflow, Unity Catalog) and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Experience with AI governance and model risk management in financial services.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent orchestration.
