Salary: $139,455 – $188,676 per year

What you will do
- Lead the team building an enterprise AI/ML platform using Databricks and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
- Define and drive the capability roadmap for LLM/RAG and agentic systems in partnership with Product Management.
- Establish engineering excellence through CI/CD, MLOps, and observability practices.
- Review solution designs for scalability, security, and compliance within a regulated financial environment.
- Manage and coach a team of experienced engineers and specialists to foster a healthy engineering culture.
- Guide build-vs-buy decisions and manage technology vendor and consulting relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to manage multi-discipline, high-performance technical teams.
- Strong competency in project management and executing large-scale IT projects.
- Must be based in the US (indicated by US-specific benefits and EEO compliance).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience building production ML or LLM systems (RAG, agentic systems, MLOps).
- Fluency with Databricks (MLflow, Unity Catalog) and AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker).
- Experience with AI governance and model risk management in financial services.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent orchestration.
