What you will do

  • Lead and grow multiple teams of engineers, applied scientists, and managers.
  • Define technical vision and strategy in partnership with the Product team.
  • Ship end-to-end AI products from data pipelines and model training to production operations.
  • Coach and develop senior engineers and managers to build a high-performance culture.
  • Develop evaluation and quality practices for AI systems, including offline benchmarks and online metrics.
  • Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and technical quality for all team systems.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, or data science.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping ML or AI-powered products in production.
  • Experience leading and mentoring multiple teams, including other engineering managers.
  • Deep expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, NLP, RAG, or ML infrastructure.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be based in New York, USA to support a hybrid work model.
