What you will do
- Own the backlog and story quality for complex, multi-track engineering engagements.
- Translate product strategy and roadmaps into actionable epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate backlog refinement and Agile ceremonies to ensure team productivity and clarity.
- Mentor and guide other Product Owners to raise the quality bar across the engagement.
- Partner with UX to ensure design decisions are accurately reflected in the backlog.
- Champion AI-forward practices by modeling effective use of AI tools in requirements analysis and sprint preparation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on software delivery teams.
- 4+ years of experience in a consulting, professional services, or agency environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex backlogs across multi-team engagements.
- Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog quality management.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools as a standard part of the professional workflow.
- Must be based in Guatemala to fulfill local employment requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience writing stories for products with AI/ML features.
- Familiarity with how AI capabilities like NLP and generative features affect testing strategies.
