What you will do

• Design and build full-stack platform capabilities powering signal-driven workflows and customer engagement.
• Create systems to ingest and route product, marketing, and sales signals into actionable next-best steps.
• Develop backend services and internal interfaces for orchestration, decisioning, and experimentation.
• Scale one of the world's largest Ruby/Rails and Javascript/React applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Design teams to prototype and launch iterative solutions.
• Mentor other engineers to resolve complex technical problems in distributed systems and platform architecture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of building scalable full-stack systems and owning multi-quarter projects.
• Experience with large-scale refactors, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
• Expertise in designing backend APIs, data flows, and event-driven services.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and unlock product capabilities.
• Must be based in the US or able to travel to US offices for onboarding.

Nice to have

• Experience with or strong interest in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong preference for test-driven development (TDD).
• Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
