What you will do

• Write, review, and maintain code and technical documentation for npm tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop new features aligned with business and user needs.
• Interact daily with the community, consumers, and contributors of open-source projects.
• Triage and remediate bugs and security vulnerabilities within the ecosystem.
• Steward impactful JavaScript open-source projects relied on by millions of developers worldwide.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent (e.g., Bachelor's + 2 years).
• Proven experience with languages such as JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, Python, C, C++, or C#.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud Services.
• 2+ years of experience developing and debugging large-scale projects or developer tools.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with Node.js.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS development.
• Experience building applications adhering to high security standards.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted coding and productivity tools.
