What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality application code with a focus on ownership and accountability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement robust software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical interviews to support team growth.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues to improve system stability.
• Communicate technical developments and design decisions to both technical and non-technical partners.
• Maintain a high-level understanding of integrated systems and ecosystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Ruby on Rails and API design.
• Strong experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Postman, Datadog, and RSpec.
• Proven ability to respond to and triage production issues.
• Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring junior developers.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with government contracting.
• Experience with Oracle Health or VA Health EHRM systems.
