What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of regional sports marketing strategies and annual business plans.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with high-potential athlete talent and influencers aligned with brand values.
  • Oversee the project management and execution of national and regional sports marketing events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Media, and Field Marketing teams to maximize athlete storytelling.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage direct reports, fostering a high-performance mindset and professional growth.
  • Manage large budgets and regional resources to optimize ROI and event effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Sports Marketing.
  • Must be based in Santa Monica, California, United States.
  • Deep understanding of sports culture, athlete ecosystems, and consumer engagement strategies.
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to travel 30-40%.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
