What you will do

• Develop and manage a global supply base for electronic components, including PCBs and PCBAs.
• Negotiate purchasing contracts, pricing, and MSAs to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.
• Partner with global engineering teams to implement sourcing strategies for new product development.
• Monitor industry trends and technology roadmaps to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Conduct supplier facility visits to assess operational capability, financial health, and capacity.
• Present value propositions and cost reduction strategies to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Must be local to North Reading, MA.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• 10-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or electronics manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or an engineering field.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, data sheets, and BOMs.
• Ability to travel internationally approximately 15-20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of photonic components such as VCSELs, Photodiodes, modulators, and PICs.
• Experience with optical photonics parts and technologies.
