Salary: $152,519 – $260,000

What you will do

• Own the reference architecture for the Platform Integrations layer, covering API standards and event-driven patterns.
• Lead technical due diligence and design reviews for integration requirements across product lines and external partners.
• Define and document API contracts and onboarding standards to enable efficient use of shared infrastructure.
• Contribute directly to the implementation of integration services, APIs, and shared libraries.
• Establish and maintain technical knowledge infrastructure, including RFCs, ADRs, and runbooks.
• Mentor Senior engineers to expand their technical scope and leadership capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Proven experience designing production-grade integration systems (RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures).
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience deploying and operating workloads on cloud platforms, with AWS strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a multi-product fintech or financial services environment.
• Experience with API management platforms and governance tooling.
• Proven track record of establishing integration standards across multiple engineering teams.
