What you will do
- Architect, scale, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD solutions and infrastructure.
- Lead the development of critical automation, tooling, and internal platforms using Go or Bash.
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to other platform engineers.
- Lead root-cause investigations and complex incident responses for core platform products.
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize and modernize the developer experience.
- Establish engineering best practices, robust documentation, and clean code standards.
Requirements
- Must be based in Portugal.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience with internal developer platforms or build systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or Bash.
- Extensive production experience managing complex, containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes at scale.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools, deployment strategies, and GitOps workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating Generative AI (GenAI) tools to optimize developer workflows.
- Previous experience with AWS or other major cloud providers.
- Relevant Kubernetes or Cloud certifications.
