Salary: $136,880 - $205,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the NPI process with a primary focus on manufacturing process development.
• Define and champion DfM requirements across cross-functional teams to ensure product scalability and reliability.
• Manage the transition of advanced optical designs into high-volume production, including manufacturing readiness and PFMEA.
• Own overall yield roadmaps and cost analysis to drive continuous yield improvement.
• Collaborate with global operation teams on product engineering, failure analysis, and supply chain management.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Photonics, Physics, or related Engineering fields.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with Silicon Photonics, co-packaged optics, and high-speed components (lasers, detectors, modulators).
• Strong analytical skills using JSL (JMP Scripting), Python, or SQL for automated yield monitoring and database querying.
• Proven track record in module/device testing, characterization, and volume production transfer.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
