Sr. High Voltage Test Engineer

Salary: $88,500–$137,100 per year, depending on location, skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for new and existing circuit protection devices.
• Execute high-voltage electrical and short-circuit tests to evaluate fuse and circuit protection product performance, safety, and durability.
• Analyze test data and waveforms and prepare comprehensive test reports.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to product development teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing methods.
• Maintain high-voltage laboratory equipment, safety procedures, risk assessments, and operating procedures, while leading laboratory improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of electrical circuit design and data acquisition, with specialization in power electronics and/or programming.
• Ability to test, diagnose, and repair electrical setups and circuits.
• Hands-on experience operating oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate technical information effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with global manufacturing companies.

• Knowledge of PLCs and related software.
